Bishop Michael Hilton is license by the state and ordained by God to preach, teach, lead and counsel those whom God has given and will give him to shepherd. Bishop Hilton is Pastor and founder of Christ Disciples Church, in Baton Rouge, La. He is Presiding Bishop over 4 churches in the ECA (Evangelical Christian Alliance) Bishop Hilton has been severing the Lord since 1983 and has been in the ministry for over 20 years. He has served faithfully as a leader for 18 of those years. The call of God on Bishop Hilton to preach the Gospel came in 1985. Since that time he has been preparing himself with prayer, study, schooling and being mentored by highly anointed men of God.

Bishop Hilton completed the school of leaders’ level one, two and three at Bethany World Prayer Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where upon graduating from the school of leaders, he went on to attend the school of Teachers graduating from there as well. Bishop Hilton served, for many years as a leader at Bethany World Prayer Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he also taught the school of leaders’ courses and also taught on the men encounter retreats for several years as a leader in the Men’s Ministry. The retreats allow men to come together, over the course of a weekend, to experience liberty through intimate time with Jesus Christ. Bishop Hilton an Associate’s Degree in Christian Ministry from MTI (formerly Ministers Training Institute) and has travels across the United States preaching and teaching the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Bishop Hilton is married to Co-Pastor Cynthia G. Hilton Together Bishop Hilton and Co-Pastor Cynthia have built a successful Real Estate Company, which has been in business since 1998. Bishop Hilton and Co-Pastor Cynthia were join together as one on June 21, 1981. This blessed couple’s the proud parents to 3 delightful children each of whom is serving the Lord. The eldest of the three is Navoda Hilton Portley. Navoda is a loving supportive wife to Calvin R. Portley II and a wonderful mother to Calvin Ray Portley III. Navoda is an attorney at law and is bared in La. and Tx. where she has worked as an assistant DA. She did under grad at Louisiana State University and received her Law degree through Southern University. The next child is Michael V. Hilton III.. Michael III is a graduate of Louisiana State University and taught English at McKinley High School for five years before becoming the Dean of students at Northdale High. Michael is a devoted husband to Jiame C. Hilton, and a loving father to Michael V. Hilton IV; Manuel J. Hilton and Mercy C. Hilton. The youngest of the three children is Tony D. Hilton. Tony is also a graduate of Louisiana State University and is now living in Atlanta Georgia with his wife Nicole B. Hilton. Tony is also a loving and devoted husband and father. Tony majored in art at LSU and worked for Bank of America before opening his own successful appraisal business. Tony is the proud father of Johnathan D. Hilton.

Bishop Hilton is also very active in his community, leading outreaches and community programs. God has given Bishop Hilton a heart for mentoring and developing men. He always teaches that to be a Christian means to be Christ-like and show the character of Christ. In addition to his duties as Senior Pastor of CDC and Bishop of the ECA, Bishop Hilton serves as Director of CDC MEM (Men Encouraging Men) and Married Couples Ministries. He conducts seminars, preaches at conferences and other churches, and he leads men's retreats and fellowships. Bishop Hilton also conducts family and marital counseling, based on biblical principles

God has blessed Bishop Hilton to have received Godly counsel and training from, Pastor Larry Stockstill; Pastor Johnny Hollins; Pastor Donnie Shaffer; Pastor Jim Clark; Pastor Tony Foster and Apostle Leanard Tennart to name a few.
